Variety is the spice of life! Jewish Care was the third venue in Soul Train’s Kosher Ceilidh Tour, and fifty people from the Aviv and Thistle Clubs along with Jewish Care staff and volunteers had a wonderful afternoon as Danny and David sang and played a wide selection of music from Jewish chazzanut to Scottish and Irish dance tunes.
Many were up and dancing, and nobody wanted the performance to end. There were more than a few enquiries about when Soul Train would play in Glasgow again from members of the audience anxious to experience the glow of such a warm and soulful atmosphere once more.
