Under the new Coronavirus regulations for "below Level 0"
that came into force on 9 August 2021:

Places of worship are able to function normally, except that worshippers are still required to wear face coverings (i.e. masks, not visors) at all times.

The person leading an act of worship, and certain others, are not required to wear face coverings provided there is either a partition or at least 1m between them and others.

It is advised to maintain a safe distance between members of different households at all times, and other precautions such has regular hand washing should be observed.

Attendance limits at weddings and civil partnership ceremonies and receptions, and funerals and related events, have been rescinded, but the contact details of those who attended should still be recorded.

Face covers are also still mandatory (unless exempt) in all communal spaces such as cafes, dining rooms, community centres (including entrances, passageways, etc) except when seated at a table.

Organised activities for adults are permitted to take place indoors.
