Judaism and the Jewish Community

These resources developed by the Scottish Council of Jewish Communities (SCoJeC) from the Board of Deputies of British Jews’ Jewish Living Experience exhibition give an overview of Judaism and the Jewish Community, providing a wide range of information that reflects many aspects of Jewish community life in Scotland today.

The posters are suitable for schools, community groups, and in the workplace. They are print quality and may be downloaded for display purposes, for example as classroom posters. They are also available as a travelling exhibition which may be more convenient for larger groups. If you would like to borrow these, please contact us at education@scojec.org to arrange collection from our Glasgow office – and let us know if you would like us to run an exhibition for your organisation. We’re happy to help!

You may like to use this resource in conjunction with one of our JOES Boxes of items such as a kiddush cup, shofar, Pesach seder plate, and tallit, that can be used to stimulate interest about Judaism and understanding of the Jewish way of life. For more information contact education@scojec.org, and contact your local Education Authority to borrow a box.
