SCoJeC held an event during Black History Month to explore the influence of the slave trade on the history of Glasgow and discuss the Jewish view of slavery. The seminar was delivered by Marenka Thompson-Oldum, who is carrying out research at the University of Glasgow, and the discussion was led by Bill Shackman, Hon Chaplain at the University of St. Andrews.
