SCoJeC's Chanukah party at Inverness was an incredible success, with more than 30 guests aged from 10 months upwards creating a lovely atmosphere! We were in the beautiful Touchwood House which offered us a wonderful, festive atmosphere – both homely and big enough to make the event feel very exciting. Delicious food including – of course – latkes and doughnuts was greatly appreciated! Adults and children alike enjoyed a superb Chanukah story-telling session, the story heard every year and yet still totally magical, followed by group candle-lighting, and a superbly orchestrated sing-a-long ending with Shalom Chaverim, which was suggested and led by some of our youngest guests.

"It was a super evening for me," commented our new Volunteer Support Assistant Zoe Jacobs, "as my first event working for SCoJeC – the community was warm, friendly, and appreciative, and the atmosphere was incredibly positive and wonderfully enjoyable. I feel very lucky to have met such a lovely group of people and am already looking forward to the next event!"
