Arnold Manuel, a regular service user at Cosgrove Care, sang the Chanukah song Maoz Tzur, and traditional Irish song Danny Boy, both accompanied by David on the guitar, and the afternoon was rounded off by another service user, Andrew Robertson, who played extracts from Fiddler on the Roof on the keyboard. A great time was had by all, and Soul Train, said they would love to have the opportunity to come back another time. |
The afternoon began with everyone trying out the jambe (a type of drum), followed by a medley of songs in Hebrew and English. Service users, carers, and visitors joined in enthusiastically, singing, clapping along, and singing with the Soul Train musicians David and Danny. |
